DayZ Standalone update .59 is right around the corner, and with all the new content being added in this update, I thought I would show you all a brief tutorial on a lesser known survival technique. • How To: Start a Fire in a Barrel. Another great use for the Oil Barrel introduced in .59 experimental is the ability to use the barrel itself as a fireplace. First, you must puncture the barrel with holes using a bladed object and then add all the necessary items in order to use the barrel as a working fireplace. • I hope you all enjoy this video.
