In this Excel Function Explained video series, I am going to explain, how to use MIN function in excel. Excel MIN function is a built-in excel function to find out the smallest or the minimum value in a data range in excel. Using MIN function, you’ll be able to extract the smallest value from a selected range and place it on a different cell. Remember MIN function doesn’t consider Logical value and text as input. Just like the MAX Function: • How to Use MAX Function in Excel • Let’s learn how to use MIN formula in excel. • The Function looks like this = MIN (Number 1, Number 2, ….) • The MIN function has only one argument or parameter. • 1. Number: This is the data range from where MIN function will return minimum value. You’ll be able to add up-to 255 values inside this function. You’ll be able to add data range, single cell number or even write values inside the function as long as you separate them with comma. • • This is how we use MIN in excel.
