Toggle can be of many types. Class toggle. Element toggle. It can be used to show and hide same thing. It can be used to show alternative classes or elements. Depending on requirement in React JS we can use several toggle techniques to achieve desired results. • Toggle can be of many flavors. • Show / Hide an element or class • Showing alternative class or element is a toggle / like toggle between two elements or classes • Conditional toggling to change something to something else / by using string concatination • We used a trigger for the toggle. It's a changing state - state is being changed between true and false boolean value on click of a button. We have used useState hook for that. This state change will trigger and affect the class toggling. • 1- Show / Hide Toggle in React JS • First one is show or hide a class name. Class name will be added or removed for an element. We can use template literal to add multiple classes or variables in class. • 2- Switching Class Name or Toggling between Two Class Names • We can use ternary operator to check if something meets the requirement. If yes, we can store a class name to add in a variable and then variable can be used in class via template literal. • 3- String Concatination • We concatenated the string value on the common style name. This is very useful in the case where we have the same initials for class names with different tail endings.
