It’s easy ! • Instagram :   / a_tablee   • Twitter :   / a_tablee   • Facebook :   / atablecuisinequotidienne   • Recipe for 1kg of whelks • Preparation time : 10 min ; cooking time : 30 min ; total : 40 min. • • Ingredients : • 1kg of living whelks • 2 litters of water • 60g of cooking salt • 1 teaspoon of black pepper • 2-3 thymus branchs • 2-3 bay leafs • • Recipe : • 1 - To boil 2 litters of water with salt, pepper, thymus and bay leafs. • 2 - Wash whelks with water in a bowl 2 or 3 times. Stop when the water is clear and without sand. • 3 - Drain whelks. • 4 - When water boils, lower the fire, put whelks in. • 5 - Cook 30 mins. • 6 - Turn of fire, put whelks and water in a bowl and let cool down. • To keep whelks keep them in their cooking water.
