(Dedicated Description Readers) • If you liked this video, I have something you might find pretty interesting! • As you may know, I go through a lot of hobbies, usually building things (Tesla Coils, burning lasers, FPV Quad Copters, etc.) Well, lately I’ve been quite into rockets! https://www.instagram.com/p/BGYJqgbNg... • Using cheep, store-bought materials and a very simple powdered rocket fuel mixture (66% Potassium Nitrate + 34% Powdered Sugar, and about .5% FeO2 as a catalyst) I’ve been able to come up with some pretty powerful solid rocket engines! I’m still working out the kinks though… Here’s a video of my last “launch” / bgaw6qktget • Needless to say, I’ll be launching remotely from now on (or at least until I can make an engine stable enough that I’m 99% sure it won’t explode in my face. Thanks Larson). • Once I get it all working nicely, I’ll post a video tutorial on my design/build, as well as some gopro footage from on board the rocket! My goal is to reach 5,000ft for under $50! • It’s been fun as always! Michelle and I are heading to Poland next week for a convention, then I’ll be getting back to video making!
