But that kind of win was needed and now Lerone Murphy has nothing but blue skies in front of him. With that win, he showed he can compete with someone as crafty and explosive as Edson Barboza and make out just fine. • The method for Lerone Murphy was simple: smash him out with 1-2’s and exiting before the combinations became too extended. This didn’t let Barboza get any damage in and really worked in Murphy’s favor. • So what’s next for UK’s contender?
