Mid January is the time of year we make it a priority to be in the woods. The whitetail deer in Alabama are beginning to rut and that is when the big bucks start showing up! • This hunt was in Tuskegee, Alabama on a 550 acre lease that we lease. • From Mid January to early February, is peak rut for the whitetail population in central Alabama.
