I tried a Pokémon Ruby Nuzlocke It almost crushed me

It's summer, it's hot and I really need to cool off, so I want to do a Pokémon Ruby Nuzlocke (Gen 3 is dope afterall) as there's a lotta water in that game! Sadly, said Nuzlocke almost broke me. This is the story of how that happened. I'm MalorakPKMN and you're watching... Me suffer, mostly! This run was supposed to be easy, ruby is considered quite an easy game...But then why is Nuzlocking Pokémon Ruby kind of a Nightmare, actually? Find out! • The rules are nuzlocke ones which means: • 1) Once a Pokémon faints it is considered gone and cannot • be used anymore. • 2) You can only catch your first encounter in every area. • 3) You must nickname every Pokémon. • 4) Once you white out the run is over. • On top of that we have the following: • 5) You cannot use items in battle. Held items are allowed. • 6) You have to change the Battle-Style to Set . • 7) You cannot level past the next Gym Leaders strongest Pokémon. • 8) No Legendaries, they're too strong. • 9) Species clause: If a pokemon of the same family is caught you may reroll your encounter • 10) Shiny clause: Shinies may always be caught and replace an encounter of your choosing. • 11) Rare Candies may be used - this makes for faster content creation.
