Hey guys, today I’m going to show you the adapter you need to install when your steerer tube is too short. • I have two stem riser adapters, one is 1 1/8 x 25.4mm and the other one is 1 1/8” x 22.2mm. • These adapters are being used to convert the old threaded forks from 1” quill stem to 1 1/8” threadless stem. • If the diameter of the steerer tube is 25.4mm, the 25.4mm adapter is not going to fit. You need the 22.2mm adapter to fit into the 25.4mm steerer tube. • Simply put that in and tighten the top bolt. • The extender will increase the length of the steerer tube by 2 inches (50mm). • UPDATED: Hope Head Doctor Into Steerer Tube Extender • Hope Head Doctor Into Steerer Tube Ex... • (Learn how I put the headset cap for adjusting the preload on the headset bearings) • Recommended adapter: • Profile Design Threadless Stem Converter: 1 To 1 1/8 • • Profile Design Threadless Stem Conver... • https://profile-design.com/products/t... • Track: Bad Snacks - Summer in the Neighborhood • Danyo Sports Channel Episode 36 • Youtube: / danyosports • Facebook: / danyosports • Instagram: / danyosports • Twitter: / danyosports
