There is no blood vessels in this. Because it is transparent, light reflected from an object can easily pass through it and enter the eyeball. • But if there is any diseases of this transparent structure, the affected area may not remain transparent, and there will be difficulty of the light rays to pass through this is non-transparent area. As a result there will be dimness of vision. • If there is some ulcer on cornea, the area becomes grey or white after healing of ulcer. As a result there will be loss of vision.
