Some projects start as an experiment and you feel like you failed at something you didn't know you were trying to make. Other projects morph into something new along the way. No matter what, the hardest thing for me to remember is to continue to find joy in the process and be kind to myself on the journey. • Embroidery isn't something I have done all my life. I have only come back to it recently and I struggle with leaving the perfectionist along the side of the road. But the texture I can create calls to me. • When I started this free form textile art project, it was going to be journal cover. Then a doodle cloth.
