Drag racing our 2019 Dodge Challenger 1320 for the first time

Check them out at https://www.whiterockdodgejeep.com/ • Last week we had a chance to take the Moparinsiders Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack 1320 to the drag strip for the first time. This was the first time I've been on the drag strip in anything fast in at least 10 years, coupled with getting to know the car and the fact that the car only had 1000kms on it (600 miles) we knew we weren't going to be setting the world on fire our first time out. Weather conditions were also working against us with an ambient temp at the track of 34 degrees celsius (93 degrees fahrenheit), track prep also wasn't great but overall I'm happy with out best time of 12.20 at 112 MPH. • There was definitely a bit of a learning experience as old habits kicked in when I tried to use the line lock on the first run and held my foot on the brake at the same time, disabling the throttle completely, eventually we got more comfortable getting our Challenger 1320 down the 1/4 mile with our times steadily improving throughout the day. • We will be looking to improve on those times in the future though and punch this car into the 11s!
