En Passant starts when a pawn moves up 2 squares. • 2. If an opposing pawn is on the adjacent square to the left or the right of this pawn that has just moved 2 squares, then this opposing pawn has the right to immediately capture the pawn that has just moved 2 squares. • 3. If the capture is not done immediately on that move, then the right to capture via En Passant is forfeited. • When you play chess, you should always play with the Chess rule En Passant.
