A mammoth 29.7 mile-long and 4,075 feet of ascent challenge hike (in one day - almost constant walking over 13 hours) on Bilsdale Circuit in North York Moors National Park. The trail was designed by Long Distance Walkers Association (please see the link below). • The circuit begins and ends at Newgate Bank, a few miles north of Helmsley on B1257, and takes in Helmsley Moor, Tripsdale, Urra Moor, Wainstones, Carlton Bank, Bilsdale West Moor, with its final section offering spectacular views of Easterside Hill and Hawnby Hill. Anyone who is into wild open spaces, solitude and communing with Nature will not be disappointed with anything that this walk has to offer. It was an experience extraordinaire. • Bilsdale Circuit on LDWA's website: https://ldwa.org.uk/ldp/members/show_... • Tour record on Komoot: https://www.komoot.com/tour/1584480365 • Music by: • 1.
