Across the country, Americans for Prosperity has been working to offer more choice in education, because we believe every child should have the opportunity to receive education suited to their needs. In 2021, West Virginia passed one such measure- the Hope Scholarship, an educational savings account to prevent cost from holding families back from enrolling their children in the schools that fit them best. • McKinley is one of many children who benefit from this program. After being diagnosed with dyslexia, dysphasia, and ADHD, her parents found she was struggling not just in school, but with her own self-esteem.
