In this Physics video tutorial in Hindi we explained, very simply, the circuit construction, application and principle of wheatstone bridge. In this hindi video lecture we derived the required equation for the balanced condition of a wheatstone bridge. We talked about the unbalanced condition also. During the study of the construction of wheatstone bridge we find that two inbuilt known resistances ( P and Q ) are there and there is one variable resistance (R) and we are to find out the unknown resistance (X). There is a galvanometer attached in the middle. During the derivation of the theory we found, when there is no current through the galvanometer (which is known as the balanced condition),Q/P = X/R. Hence with the knowledge of P, Q and R we can evaluate X.
