I first fell in love with this song around age 16, playing it endlessly from a CD. Recently, it started to resonate with me again, and I'd even added it to my wishlist of songs to cover. Then, unexpectedly, it reappeared during a cooldown session in dance class. After a while I sang it with RonaldD—this very recording and only a few days later, I found out it was the favorite song of a fellow singer in the 'Altijd Verbonden' concert, where we perform for parents who've lost a child in the arms of an angel. Somehow, this song found its way back to me, and I'm so grateful it did. • This recording was our first practice, so while it’s not perfect—some timing still needs refining—I love how it turned out.
