CHERRY BOURBON SMASH Bourbon cocktail

This bourbon cocktail is delicious! It's even perfect for those who aren't really crazy about bourbon. With cherry, mint and a dash of club soda, it's refreshing and sophisticated. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. • WHAT YOU NEED: • 2 oz Bourbon • 1 oz Mint Syrup (instructions below) • 1 oz Lemon Juice • 3 pitted cherries • Club soda • HOW TO MAKE IT: • Add Bourbon, cherries, mint syrup, lemon juice to a shaker glass • Muddle or smash very well • Shake, shake, shake! • Double strain into glasses • Top with club soda • Garnish and Enjoy! • MINT SYRUP • Boil 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water • Bring to a simmer and add 1/2 cup loose fresh mint leaves • Simmer 5 minutes • Strain out leaves • That's it! • Fun fact: While most people call it a Bourbon Smash, you'll see it called Bourbon Mash as well.
