It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do. • -Pele • As the 36 Officer Trainees of 26th AC(DE) successfully complete the 52 week training and take their first step in the service of nation, we present you their journey at SSB Academy Bhopal. This video broadly covers the activities that the trainees undergo at SSB Academy Bhopal in their journey from a civilian to an #Assistantcommandant of #Sashastraseemabal #SSB. The Basic course spanning 52 weeks entails broadening of physical and mental horizons of Officer Trainees. The 36 unique personalities who entered the academy went throught vigorous PT sessions, intense drill sessions, engaging weapon classes, demos of various ops, enriching indoor classes, high spirited game sessions and exhilarating physicals tests. • Multidimensional development of the Officer Trainees is ensured by imparting skills like swimming, equitation, unarmed combat, driving, man-management and use of special service equipment. The trainees are also subjected to a 2 week border training module and a week long study tour across different states of India. The overall objective is to equip them with skills and capabilities as future Company Commanders to ensure law order and peace along the Indo-Nepal and Indo-Bhutan border.
