This is a very simple, unscented cold process soap great for beginners. It’s made with a 20 % superfat to counteract the high cleansing effect of coconut oil. • You will only need 3-4 ingredients to make this soap. One of the ingredients is lye, please be careful and wear safety equipment when handling lye and don’t breathe in the fumes. • This soap needs a 4-6 week cure before it's ready to be used, I forgot to write that in the video :) • 100 % coconut oil soap recipe with 20 % superfat • Total batch weight: 707 g • 500 g coconut oil • 124.6 g distilled water ( 37% lye concentration) • optional: 10 g citric acid • Citric acid will react with lye and neutralize some of it.
