Tumacacori National Historic Park Tubac Arizona

We stopped and visited Tumacacori NHP recently on our roadtrip through Southern Arizona near the town of Tubac, Arizona. Originally built by early Spanish settlers in the Late 1600's, Tumacacori was a main hub in Spanish expansion in the Southwest territory through the 1800's until the Spanish left turning the area over to Mexico and eventually the United States.
