Join us on a walking tour of Valllehermoso La Gomera, a beautiful town of brightly coloured buildings in the mountains of La Gomera Island. • Walk with us through the historic streets and enjoy the spectacular views of the steep rock mountains. The town sits among palm groves and terraced mountainsides in the shadow of the imposing Roque Cano. • VALLEHERMOSO • Vallehermoso, which translates to Beautiful Valley, lives up to its name with its stunning landscapes encompassing lush valleys, rugged mountains, and pristine beaches. • The village is situated in a large, natural amphitheatre surrounded by volcanic peaks, creating a breathtaking backdrop that is both dramatic and serene. • The region of Vallehermoso covers approximately one-third of La Gomera, making it one of the largest municipalities on the island. Its terrain is diverse, featuring everything from the verdant terraces of the valley floor to the arid slopes of the surrounding mountains. • This diversity in landscapes provides a feast for the eyes and supports a wide range of flora and fauna, contributing to the region's ecological richness. • Historically, Vallehermoso has been an agricultural hub, with its fertile lands yielding abundant crops such as bananas, wine grapes, and palm honey.
