Cable cutters work best, but you can use anything, really. The cleaner the cut, the easier the rest of the process. • Step 2 - Remove the rubber insulation to 1/2 to 1 inch using a box cutter or other knife. • Step 3 - Do the same on the grounds cables. • Step 4 - Slide the ring connector on, and crimp it with a crimper. • Step 5 - Use the LarryB's Battery Cable Crimper for the big cable.
