This anniversary chronicle follows our first inspector on his journey through time from 1872 to 2022. • Since 1827, we have developed from a one-employee non-profit society in Elberfeld/Barmen into a global company with over 20.000 employees. • It began with the inspection of steam engines, and grew to inspection, testing and certification of industrial plants, automobiles, medical devices, toys and much more on five continents. • Our very first employee was Max Glomsda - the first TÜV Rheinland inspector. This video chronicle brings him to TÜV Rheinland’s Cologne campus and to the present day.
