Please subscribe! - http://bit.ly/PetePeppers • The fifth episode of season 5 of the Expanse slowed down a little bit after the Free Navy’s coordinated attack on Earth, Mars, and Tycho Station in the Belt. The radical faction of the OPA led by Marco Inaros (Keon Alexander) seemed to have rendezvoused with the Martian ship the Barkeith, and were delivered two new ships from Mars. Naomi (Dominique Tipper) is a prisoner on his ship, and when she learns that the Rocinante has been sabotaged she takes drastic measures to reach James Holden (Steven Strait). • In episode 5 Amos Burton (Wes Chatham) is trapped on Earth with Clarissa Mao (Nadine Nicole) in an underground U.N. Penitentiary for high risk prisoners who all have body modifications. Amos was in her cell with Peaches when the second rock hit not far from their location, and now they need to escape. With help from the guards and a prisoner with mods named Konecheck they’re able to make it to the surface where they see the destruction first hand. The building that was above the prison is destroyed, and things look dire for the planet Earth. Konecheck tries to kill everyone so he can escape, but Amos and the guard Rona are able to stop him. Amos and Peaches are now stranded in the middle of a disaster zone. • Holden and Bull interview Sakai at Tycho after she killed Fred Johnson, and helped the Free Navy steal his protomolecule sample. She won’t give up any useful information, and we learn that she sabotaged the Rocinante with the bottle code that Naomi wrote years ago. When Holden gets the Zmeya’s flight plan from Monica he almost kills himself and the Roci by starting the drive. • Alex (Cas Anvar) and Bobbie Draper (Frankie Adams) are in pursuit of Admiral Sauveterre in the Barkeith. They are following in the Razorback (Screaming Firehawk), and see the ship meet with the Free Navy at a grouping of asteroids. They get spotted by the Belter ships, which leads to a high speed chase. They aren’t able to outmaneuver a torpedo that’s following so they’re forced to dump the ship's core to destroy it. • On the Pella Naomi is with Marco and her son Filip Inaros (Jasai Chase Owens). Marco tries to manipulate her into behaving by telling her that Filip wants her there so he can get to know her. She tries to figure out a way to get out, and has heated conversations with Cyn and Karal. She is stopped from stabbing Marco, and in the process figures out that he is trying to destroy the Roci. After hitting Cyn with a wrench she gets his hand terminal and is able to contact Jim just in time. • Let us know what theories you have about season 5, and how you think his story will end.
