Eric is an affectionate, playful young male. • When he first came to us, locked up in the quarantine enclosure, he was difficult to approach and could get quite a temper tantrum. • When he moved to the free-range centre, we noticed that he is a very affectionate cat, who really doesn't like to be locked up. • He comes to you for hugs and regularly jumps on your lap to enjoy all the strokes. • When Eric was with other cats, we noticed that his frustrations increased and he could still react very erratic. • He often scratched or bit you, sometimes when he was purring on your lap his behaviour would change and he would even slap you in the face. • The shelter is really not a good situation for him! • Now that Eric is all alone in the shelter, we see a really sweet cat, when you walk through the hallway you see him standing in front of the door asking you to come in for a long cuddle. When you enter the residence, he comes to you enthusiastically and always wants to lie on your lap. We have also noticed that his erratic behaviour with tapping has strongly decreased now that he is on his own. • Eric loves playing games. If you hide something, he likes to go and look for it, he is a very curious cat. He needs more space and a challenge than we can offer him.
