EDIT 4 (8/28/14): The spiritual sequel to this tutorial, Poop Theory, has now been released. I suggest checking it out, since this tutorial is out of date by 3 years now. Link: • YouTube Poop Theory: Tips for Aspirin... • EDIT 3 (2/22/14): Take what I say in this tutorial with a grain of salt. This was made back in 2011 when I was much less experienced, and YTP has changed substantially since then. This only covers basic editing techniques used in more traditional Poops and doesn't go into the different styles and genres that are out there. Furthermore, the What to Avoid section was only a set of recommendations for beginners, not a list of iron rules (though a couple never will be acceptable, like webcam Pooping or making Poops with next to no edits). Experienced Poopers know and understand how to use Spadinner to their advantage, make running jokes work, keep their material fresh, and how to make Poops that are long but still engaging (like I said at 13:07. So stop fucking telling me I broke my own rule by making Megapoops and learn to listen!).
