This will apply to 2009-2013 Toyota Corolla’s with a 1.8 motor and will work for changing either your intake or exhaust variable valve solenoid. A P0015 code is the OBD-ll generic code indicating the engine control module (ECM) and the exhaust camshaft timing for bank one is more retarded than it should be. A P0015 code can be caused by many factors such as incorrect shifting of the camshaft, defective valve timing, VVT stuck or compromised, oil flow/dirty oil causing control valve sticking or creating sludge buildup . It is very important to use the proper viscosity recommended by the manufacturer and to change your oil in a timely manner. • • Tools needed: • Socket Set -- -- https://amzn.to/3yySUY7 • Hand Cleaner -- -- https://amzn.to/3jkXlBk • Rubber Gloves -- -- https://amzn.to/35STq6Q • Shop Towels -- -- https://amzn.to/3y2KwzR • Parts: • VVT Solenoid -- -- https://amzn.to/3pKVY0j • • These are the tools we used or something that’s similar.
