On June 29th, 1988 Christopher Davis was driving home late at night when he got a flat tire. After changing the tire he heard a rustling behind him… • A dizzying 180 brought him around to see a large bi-pedal creature lumbering towards him! One news article quoted Davis as saying, “its searing eyes, three-clawed fingers and snake-like scales made him initially believe he was under siege by the devil himself”. Davis states that he ran and leaped into the car moments before the creature slammed against the side of the vehicle. The collision was so forceful that the entire car shook as metal bent and glass shattered. Davis says that the creature clawed and grabbed at the drivers-side door and then leaped atop the roof as he peeled off, clinging to it tightly as he swerved and skidded away.
