Affordable Functioning Jon Boat Cover Idea

I am going to start doing two videos a week, every Thursday and Saturday! Please subscribe if you like the content! • This is going to be a video of how I store my jon boat with an affordable functioning cover, and hopefully this will give you some ideas on how you can protect your casting deck and other valuables. It is a small boat tarp kit from Walmart the was on sale for $30 so I thought I would give it a try. Its just a 16'x8' heavy duty tarp that comes with some string and bungees. It has lasted all summer and now most of winter. Here in Florida we get a lot of rain and wind. With this set up it keeps everything dry and very rarely do I ever get any water pooling on the cover. I know the cardboard over the motor looks pretty trashy but it forms to the shape of the motor and prevents it from blowing away. I use four bungee cords and then where ever I need to pull the tarp tight, I just use pre-cut 550 para-cord with a loop tied on one end. They have a bright green top.
