This event is open to a variety of vehicles, including trucks, motorcycles, and even tricycles, with specific races and exhibitions planned throughout the weekend. • On Friday, there will be a Test Tune session for racers with drag radials and slicks from 12-5 PM, and later, an open session for street cars from 6-10 PM. Saturday will feature competitive racing with classes like Door Slammer Quick 8, King of the Street, and various nostalgia and bracket races. There will also be a car show, with prizes awarded for different categories such as Best Mopar, making it an exciting day for fans of Mopar vehicles like the Hellcat. The event will also include special exhibitions and a fire show featuring Hellfire and the Hotrod Fire Truck • St. Thomas Dragway has a rich history in Canadian motorsports, known as one of the oldest drag racing tracks in Ontario. Opened in the 1960s, the track has seen numerous upgrades over the years, making it a prime venue for high-performance drag racing. Originally opened in 1962 by Bob Helen Harvey it continues to be the oldest continually run drag strip in the country. Steeped in a rich history, this historic venue has hosted many racing legends including John Force and was the first drag strip outside of the United State to be sanctioned by the National Hot Rod Association. • Currently, St. Thomas Dragway is owned and operated by Spriet Motorsports Inc.
