There are so many parents given misinformation by health care professionals inadequately trained in tongue function and assessment. This can be so frustrating and confusing for all parents trying desperately to navigate #FeedingIssues. Even when you feel like your child had a procedure to correct #TongueTie and other #OralRestrictions, there are different levels of healthcare training and understanding of function and milestones which does effect outcomes. This mom was no rookie to feeding here on her 4th child and was given bad medical advice - ‘we never looked’ cannot be the ‘WNL’ we are accustomed to in healthcare.
