Here we go! I was finally able to get out onto some safe ice on January 3rd, 2024 to scratch the itch most of us ice fisherman have this time of year. A 90-minute drive from Chittenden County yielded a successful outing on the hardwater, with a handful of pickerel and several dozen yellow perch to show for it.
