Minecraft Powered Rails Tutorial Basics Part 1

This is the first of a Minecraft tutorial series that will teach you how to create an automatic railroad system that can be created on any server, without using any mods. The features added to the 1.5 BETA update will allow us to do so. Many of you might be thinking that this is already possible, and it is up to a certain extent. This will allow for a more compact system without the need for boosters that often cause issues. • Throughout the series, you will learn the inner-workings of all types of rails, redstone usage, and how to manipulate them using control devices such as levers, buttons, pressure plates, and more. • In part 1, you will learn how to use powered rails in order to move a minecart without any boosters. You will also learn the basics of using levers, buttons, and redstone torches in order to power the rails. • For the purposes of this video series, we have spawned the items necessary to create the system. If you would like to know the item numbers so you can spawn them as well, refer to the last 5 seconds of this video.
