The third activity of the Danzón Tijuana Festival featured music, poetry and dance. Danzón is a dancing musical genre that originated in Cuba. It is the product of the musical fusion between European, Spanish and French music along with the contributions of Black culture in a cultural melting pot found precisely in the Antilles.
