PGA Professional Robin Symes shows a drill to keep your Right Foot Stable during your golf swing. • Transcript • Hi. Robin here, with a simple drill for anybody who's losing stability in their right foot in the backswing. Perhaps in the backswing your foot is rolling where the inside of your shoe is coming off of the ground, causing your right leg to straighten; you lose that resistance from your lower body making it difficult to make the correct downswing. The Drill is as simple as this. Place a stick on the ground, placing your foot, the stick in the center of your right foot. You'll feel that the outside of your foot and the inside of your foot is slightly off the ground. And I want you to maintain that in your backswing. You'll start to feel a lot more stable; right leg, right hip, creating more resistance. Giving you a better chance of creating the correct sequence in the downswing. A simple drill, make a few practice swings to start with, and you can actually go ahead and hit some shots with the same drill. • http://www.swingstation.com http://www.rnygi.com • Rising Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) • Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 • http://creativecommons.org/licenses/b...
