To be able to solve these problems it is important that you have a grasp of the major trigonometric identities, the Pythagoras rule, the sine rule and the cosine rule. • Just like every word problem, the key to solving a trigonometric word problem is understanding the problem, then represent the information in the problem geometrically (with a diagram).
