This guy built his own one-wheeled self-balancing scooter. The core functionality of this incredible looking creation relies on gyroscope and accelerometer sensors that detect tilt and movement. These sensors communicate with a microcontroller that, in real-time, adjusts an internal electric motor to maintain balance and direction. The rider commands the scooter by simply leaning forward to accelerate, and backward to decelerate.
