Lots of bars • 2. Great staff • 3. Don’t expect top shelf • 4. Pelican Bar has best selection (open evenings only) • 5. Best top shelf is Johnny Walker Black and Titos • 6. The food is not that great at the buffet • 7. Pool grill is decent • 8. Walking to Baha Mar is only a 5 minute walk along the beach • 9. Specialty restaurants (open one at a time while I was there) • 10. Expect MSG in the food • 11. There is a gym • 12. This is not a luxury resort • 13. Great location - Cable Beach, Goodman’s bay park • 14. Water sports and tours are RIGHT outside the resort on the beach • 15. Look for events at Goodman’s Bay park • 16. Expect to see the beach from the pool • 17. Rooms are not luxurious, but comfortable • 18. Air conditioning is awesome • 19. Wifi is free and fast • 20. Cleaning staff is awesome • 21. There are 2 towers at Breezes • 22. Try to get a room with direct access to the beach, they come with your own table/chairs and dedicated cabana • 23. A fridge is $10/day • 24. Bahamian and USD are interchangeable • 25. Gratuity is not required • 26. LOTS of activities with an activities staff • 27. Kayaks and SUP provided, but the area to do this within is SMALL • 28. Pool and games indoors • 29. Tennis courts, running track, beach volleyball outside (and a spa hut) • 30. Not tons of entertainment mid-week, they have live music in evenings • 31. Pelican bar is open evenings and Thurs-sun nights they have someone who plays the piano • 32. There is a nightclub on site called Hurricanes • 33. Kids and “age allowance” changes by year (check website) • 34. This is a spring break hot spot (fyi) • 35. Free parking • 36.
