What’s happening in this movie clip? • Daniel and Jessica go out searching for bonsai, and Mike uses this excursion to trap them at the bottom of a cliff stealing their ropes to go up. Daniel threatens Mike but he blackmails Daniel to sign his paper in return, and it's only when he's done that he agrees to throw the ropes and help them get back up. But Mike takes advantage of his powerful position to annoy Daniel, scaring Jessica. It works, but as soon as he gets angry again, Mike decides he’s not done playing with them, and asks Daniel to give him the bonsai they found.
