After first-time set up of the Omnipod® 5 App and Pod, a screen will appear to connect the continuous glucose monitor (CGM) to your Omnipod 5 System. If you're not ready to connect your CGM, tap Not Now. To connect or change a CGM transmitter from the Home screen, tap on the menu icon, then Settings, then CGM Transmitter. • Make sure the Dexcom G6 receiver is turned off. The Dexcom G6 receiver cannot be used as part of the Omnipod 5 System. You must use the Dexcom G6 mobile app on a compatible smartphone as part of the system. • Watch the video to learn more about how to connect your Omnipod 5 App to your Dexcom G6 CGM. • Training is essential and must be completed before using the Omnipod® 5 System.
