Gelli-Plate with animal gelatine? Alternative: The Agar-Gelli-Plate! • Make your own gelatin printing plate yourself without gelatin! • This permanent agar printing plate I developed does not contain any animal products! • To make a durable agar printing plate, you need the following ingredients: • (Vessel volume 2700 ml; size of the plate e.g. 50x35 with a thickness of approx. 1.5 cm): • 60-70g agar agar • 1000ml of water • 1000 ml glycerin • 700 ml spirit • 2 tablespoons salt • 1 teaspoon silicone oil (100 CST) • IMPORTANT: PLEASE USE AGAR-AGAR!
