Give this recipe a try and let us know how it turns out in the comments below! • Subscribe to our channel for more simple home made recipes! / @samandfengcooking • Instagram: / samandfengcooking • Printable recipe: http://samandfengcooking.com/ • Recipe: • ½ cup milk • ½ cup water • ½ cup butter • 1 tablespoon sugar • 1 teaspoon salt • 1 cup flour • 4 eggs • Glaze: • 1 cup icing sugar • 2 tablespoons honey • 1 tablespoon melted butter • 1 teaspoon vanilla • 1-2 tablespoons milk • • 1. In a medium saucepan add the milk, water, butter, sugar and salt. • 2. Heat this mixture up until it boils, then sift in the flour. • 3. Stir until everything is combined and turn the heat to low. Continue to stir for 2-3 minutes. • 4. Add the dough to the stand mixer. Mix for a couple minutes to cool it down. • 5. Then add 4 eggs, mixing one at a time before adding the next. Be sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl as you go. • 6. Add the choux paste to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip. • 7. Let the choux paste cool down before piping the donuts. • 8. Cut parchment paper squares and lightly grease a baking sheet. Pace the parchment squares on the baking sheet. • 9. Pipe an even circle of dough, making the ends meet and connect. • 10. Heat the fryer up to 350°F. • 11. Place each donut with the parchment paper into the hot oil one or two at a time depending on how many fit. • 12. Take out the parchment paper once it has lifted on its own. • 13. Fry on both sides until they’re puffed up and golden brown. • 14. Drain and cool donuts on a wire rack. • 15. To make the glaze, add the icing sugar to a bowl along with the honey, melted butter, vanilla. Give it a mix with a whisk and add as much milk as needed to get the consistency you like. • 16.
