A playthrough of Taito's 1994 cartoon-based platformer for the Super NES, The Jetsons: Invasion of the Planet Pirates. • Played on the default settings. • The Jetson's SNES outing is just as good as Taito's other Hanna Barbera-licensed games, and does an amazing job at recreating the feel of the show with the big, detailed sprites, good likenesses of the original characters, and a ton of color despite the predominantly industrial setting (everything isn't grey, blue, and black thankfully!). • The coolest part, and the thing that I think elevates this game above Taito's other (still excellent) Jetsons and Flintstones fare, is the weapon/tool that George uses. The vacuum mechanic allows for a lot of cool, creative platforming that a typical hop-and-bop generally lacks, and gives the game a really unique quality. Maybe Luigi should thank George for the inspiration! • It was also developed by Sting, which maybe surprise you if you're familiar with their other works like Treasure Hunter G, Baroque, and Riviera: The Promised Land. Fun trivia tidbit there. • _____ • No cheats were used during the recording of this video. • NintendoComplete (http://www.nintendocomplete.com/) punches you in the face with in-depth reviews, screenshot archives, and music from classic 8-bit NES games! • Visit for the latest updates! • / 540091756006560 • / nes_complete
