If you're shopping for a crossover SUV, you know there are a lot of great choices on the market. Our latest video is taking a closer look at the completely redesigned 2015 Nissan Murano, which has generated a lot of buzz recently for its bold new look, its high-end interior, and its modern technology and gadgets. We think it lives up to the hype. • Depending on the model and options you choose, a 2015 Murano will cost between $30,000 and $40,000 -- a good deal compared to a similarly equipped Lexus RX 350, which feels just as luxurious as the Nissan. By delivering this level of value, we think the Murano has an edge over rival crossovers. • Available in four trim levels -- S, SV, SL and Platinum -- the crossover comes with a 260-horsepower 3.5-liter V6, capable of reaching 21 miles per gallon in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. Outside, the Murano's bold styling means you won't confuse it with anything else on the road. Inside, the new Murano's interior touts a wide range of premium finishes and soft-touch surfaces. • On the road, the Murano isn't sporty -- so if sharp handling is your thing, the Murano may not be for you. But the upside is that it's smooth, quiet and comfortable. The Murano also boasts a wide range of standard features, such as 18-inch alloy wheels, push-button start, a backup camera and dual-zone automatic climate control -- even in its most basic trim level.
