Today, we are walking around the capital city of the province of Bulacan, Malolos City. We start our stroll from Robinsons Place Malolos along McArthur Highway or Manila North Road. Fausta street is our entry point. Then, a right turn to Lucero Street 'til we reach the Minor Basilica and Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Across the church is the old Malolos City Hall. We head to Paseo del Congreso Street to reach the historic Barasoain Church or The Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish. We will keep on walking along Paseo del Congreso Street before we reach McArthur Highway where we will end our stroll. • More about Malolos City: • Malolos, Bulacan, Philippines was the site of the 1898 constitutional convention and the First Philippine Republic was established in Malolos, at the sanctuary of the Barasoain Church. Additionally, the convent at the Malolos Cathedral served as the presidential palace for the first Philippine President, Emilio Aguinaldo.
