How to edit the LG TV model and serial number information using the LG factory service remote control. This will be accomplished in the IN START menu. Normally this is done after changing the motherboard. • The navigation buttons will be used to scroll through the alphabet as well as numbers 0 to 9. In some televisions you can use the numeric keypad instead of using the navigation buttons to scroll through the numbers. • Also its not a must you do this. The TV will work just fine even if the model number and serial numbers are wrong or have not been properly edited. • Process • 1. Press IN START • 2. Enter password as 0413 • 3.
