Taipei Main Station can be extremely confusing to anyone including long time residents. I've tried to keep instructions on how to navigate the huge complex simple and if you follow the advice I give, mainly just using the signs above you for directions you shouldn't have too much difficulty getting around. I focused on the Taipei Main Station building where you'll find places to eat, shop, buy train tickets, the Airport MRT, the bus station located at the East Side of the main building, and the other MRT lines.
