Join David on our loading dock and take a look at this shapely evergreen. Its a type of (Japanese) holly but this is one that doesn't have any prickles! Instead, it has a beautiful pyramidal habit, small shinny, dark green leaves and sometimes in autumn little black berries that birds feed on. • It makes a super specimen, accent, hedge or screen or foundation plant that requires little pruning (only needs shearing to enhance its shape). Listen in as David explains how he has noticed that small birds like its dense, protective habit and strong branching structure and frequently use it to build their nests and raise their families. • , • Ilex crenata 'Chesapeake' • More at: https://www.grownbyoverdevest.com/pla...
