Illaria is a Ukrainian singer, composer, poetess and frontwoman of her own music project Illaria since 2007. Over that time, she has released four albums: “Vilna,” “13 Months,” “I’m Alive,” “Podykh,” and seven singles that became instant hits. Illaria fell in love with ethnic music when she heard archival field recordings of ethnomusicologists, where old women sang vesnyankas.
